I'm Charli, the artist behind each piece in my collection. My journey in jewellery design is a heartfelt exploration, and I pour my dedication and artistry into every piece. I'm thrilled to share my unique one of a kind designs with you and look forward to making a special unique design that you'll cherish for years to come.
At the core of my practice is a commitment to ethical and sustainably sourced materials. I use 100% recycled, post consumer solid 925 silver and gold in 9ct, 14ct and 18ct, ensuring each piece not only shines with brilliance but also aligns with our values.
My expertise extends to sourcing gemstones that are as exceptional as they are ethical. I take pride in offering beautiful, conflict-free stones, with a special focus on locally sourced Tasmanian sapphires. Collaborating closely with renowned local fossicker and gemstone cutters. I have the privilege of sourcing stunning sapphires from the north-east of Lutruwita, Tasmania.
This collaboration ensures that each gemstone I select is of the highest quality and carries its own unique story. The Journey...
Your Consultation
Your bespoke journey begins with a 45 minute consultation with me, Charli. Whether you prefer to meet in person in Nipaluna or connect virtually from wherever you are, this is a space for us to explore your vision together. We’ll discuss your ideas, inspirations, gemstone preferences, metal choices, and the story you want to tell with your piece. By the end, you’ll feel inspired, with a clear sense of direction for the design to come.
During our consultation, we’ll dive into:
- Your unique vision for the piece
- The gemstones and metals that resonate with you
- Your budget, sizing and timeline
A $100 deposit is required to secure your consultation, which will be credited towards the final cost of your piece. Please note, this deposit is non-refundable unless in exceptional circumstances.
Creating a bespoke piece typically takes between 8 to 12 weeks, depending on Charli’s workload, she’ll be able to provide a more accurate timeline during the consultation.
Bespoke designs start at a minimum of $2000 AUD. The final cost will be influenced by your selection of metal, gemstones, and the complexity of the design. I believe in making beautiful jewellery accessible, so if this is outside your budget, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We can explore options, such as customising a piece from my existing collection, to ensure it aligns with your budget and vision.
Providing Your Quote
Once we’ve woven together the design details from our conversation, I’ll provide you with a detailed quote. This will reflect the chosen metals, design complexity, and my craftsmanship. Gemstone costs will be left out of this initial quote as we won’t include them until we’ve sourced the stones. This allows me to source the best options for you, keeping your budget in mind while ensuring the stones are as beautiful as they are meaningful. If you have gemstones of your own, or perhaps an heirloom piece you’d like to repurpose, I would love to incorporate them into your design, giving them a new life and meaning.
Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed the quote, I’ll ask for a 50% deposit to reserve your place in the process and begin sourcing the materials.
Gemstone Sourcing & Design
The magic of gemstone sourcing begins. I am deeply committed to finding gemstones that are as ethically sourced as they are stunning. I work closely with trusted suppliers and local fossickers, ensuring every stone is chosen with care and consideration. We’ll source the stones with your budget in mind, and once we’ve found the perfect fit, I’ll provide updated pricing based on the gemstones we select.
Crafting Your Piece
With the design and gemstones finalised, the transformation begins. Through the Lost Wax Casting Method, I’ll bring your design to life, carefully crafting each detail with precision and artistry. As we move forward, I’ll keep you informed every step of the way. When the wax model is complete, I’ll send you images for your approval before it’s cast into your chosen metal.
At this stage, the final 50% payment will be due.
Final Touches
As your piece is cast and your gemstones are set, we’ll add the finishing touches to make sure everything is perfect. The final polish will give it the luster and glow that will make it uniquely yours, ready to be cherished for a lifetime.
